< Orders < Creating a New Service Order

Before you can schedule any jobs for a client, you have to firstly create a service order for the jobs to be added into.
How do I Create a New Service Order?
Enter a "Label" for your new order, such as "Dog Walking February".
Alternatively, if you prefer you can leave the label blank. All orders have a default name of "Service Order" and the service dates are automatically added to the line below each order so you can differentiate which order is which. The label simply helps you to identify your orders by a name.
Click "Create New Order".
The new order has been added to the list of service orders on the client's Service Order Screen - click here for an explanation of the columns on this screen.
The order can be identifed by:
the label you gave it when you created it, or
if you have chosen to keep the default order name of "Service Order".
Either way, the order will show that it is "Empty" and there is as yet no information in any of the columns.
The service order is now ready for you to start adding jobs to it.
