When your service order has been created it is automatically set to "Quote" status and is ready to be sent to your client for approval, or to be converted into an invoice.
However, you may need to make changes to your quotes such as:

editing a quote
using payment types to set when a quote will be due for settlement
deleting a quote
sending the quote to a client for approval
customizing how your quote appears to your clients
amending who receives a copy of the quote
