There may be occasions where you need to edit a receipt to correct an error.
All receipts posted for the client will be listed in reverse date order, with the most recent receipt at the top of the list, as shown in the screenshot below.
Note that up to 10 receipts are shown on each page. If there more than 10 receipts have been posted to a client, older receipts are shown on the second and subsequent pages. Click the page number to access the required page.
How do I Find a Receipt?
Click "All Receipts" from the sub menu on the left.
Click on the Receipt you wish to edit.
How do I Amend a Receipt?
Edit the information as follows.
Click "Update" when you have finished editing the receipt.
Edit the date the payment was received into your bank.
Edit the payment amount.
Edit the method of payment, such as direct credit, cash or check.
The default text can be left as "Payment Received" or you can adjust to suit your own description.
Once you have saved your changes, the new receipt amount can be viewed in the "All Receipts" list.
