How do I add scheduling notes to a Service Order?
It may be necessary to record notes about the services you are scheduling in a service order. For example, the primary sitter may inform you that she will be unavailable for a few of the services, so you need to reach out to back-up sitters to see if they are available for the services. It might be helpful to put these scheduling notes into a notepad - to keep track of the communication regarding the services in the service order.
To add scheduling notes to a service order:
navigate to the Orders tab on the client's account
click on the service order in the left-hand column
click the "Scheduling Notes" tab
write your scheduling notes in the notepad
click "Update Notes"
The scheduling notes allow you to record the progress of scheduling the work, or document the approval of requests, in a notepad function. These notes are free format and would typically reflect the history of the scheduling/approval process for that particular type of work.
Scheduling notes may be added to service orders or service requests on the client's Orders page. They may also be added to job requests that have been assigned to an order under Diary & Scheduling > Job Requests.
